  My wife and call the black horse Pub & Brewery "the pub" due to its location and our frequency of visitation. We've always had decent service and the food is well above average. The beers are probably average. However , they have some exceptional outliers that are well worth the visit. The Imperial Red is amazing and probably the best craft beer produced in Knoxville.
  
  Great location for large groups that don't require a privet room. Food menu is diverse enough for all tastes. They have a large bar area with several big screen TVs.

  The best club sandwich in Knoxville! Plus the beers are awesome, brewed in house and the service is always good as well.

  Food is some of the best in knoxville. We really enjoyed our experience. Fried green tomatoes is a must try. I had the fish tacos and honestly the best I've had anywhere. Pizzas are crazy good. Only been there once and can't wait to go back.
