  A great restaurant to have in the fort. Delicious pad Thai. I spent way too much money here living only a block away, but it was worth every penny. One of the things I miss most about living in the fort is easy access to Chaiyo's.

  I went here recently as a first-time customer, and came in and accidentally ordered my dine in order from the take-out window. Not knowing this, I proceeded to check out after ordering and signed the receipt just as I would on any Togo order a crossed through tip section. I then told her that my meal was for here because again I've never been there and I didn't realize that you were supposed to see yourself. They then got angry with me and began to explain to me that I ordered from the wrong window and then when I come in next time to just be seated and that will bring me menu. All this is understandable from a small and what seem like a busy authentic Asian restaurant, however once I was seated at my table the older woman who I am guessing is the owner after reading these reviews, came to my table and literally slapped down the receipt that I had signed earlier at the to-go window where I had marked through my tip section. She proceeded to tell me that I had made a mistake by ordering from the to go area and that people that dined in "must tip" as if tipping at her restaurant was a mandatory thing which as far as I understand it is illegal to force a customer to tip as long as the bill is under a certain a certain amount. I have never been treated so rudely in any restaurant I've ever been in in my entire life. Every question also that I ask them about their food or about different food extra items like dry egg noodles they would treat me with complete disrespect and acted like I was crazy simply due to the fact that I had never been there before. I don't know how these people make repeat customers it must be ran and function solely off of the drunk frat kids that live in the fort that drink beer all day and can't taste this flavorless food. I will say I enjoyed my sushi roll but not for the price of the experience I was so angry by the time I was done if I had not already signed that receipt and used my debit card I would have left without paying or thrown my food on the floor.
