  Great Tavern for whiskey and bourbon and other drinks. But how about the food. Different. Bangers and Mash are more of a pot pie style. And the Shepard Pie is spot on. Worth a visit. Good quality ingredients. Limited food selections but what they have is reasonable and flavorful.

  We stopped here for a couple of drinks before the ZZTop concert, which was next door at the Tennessee Theatre. The front of the bar and bar area were a little crowded but there were empty tables in the back.
  
  We were served pretty quickly and the waitstaff were polite - not overly friendly but nice enough. We ordered Bailey's on Ice, but the drinks were laughable. It didn't even look like a full shot was in our tumbler-sized glasses, which came to the table not even 1/4 full yet with ice to the top. That was really ridiculous for $6!
  
  Also, we were enjoying a nice conversation until someone on staff blared the stereo. It was so loud at first that we couldn't even hear anything the other person said. Then it was turned down, thankfully, but unfortunately that only lasted about 2-3 minutes until it was blaring again.
  
  Although it was a nice-looking bar, I have to give it 3 stars based on over-priced drinks and the music situation!
