  Like any other box grocery store. Reasonable prices on sale items and things aren't "over-priced" for the most part. The problems that dropped them to 2 stars though are 1st, the meat/seafood department stinks to high heaven! As soon as you come around the corner heading toward the department you are hit with old fish stink. It is terrible!
  The 2nd issue is the produce department. I understand that the associates can only put out what is delivered to them but honestly, is the produce manager not able to order better quality stuff to begin with? They can't blame it on availability because other stores in the area have far better produce. Fresh Market on Kingston Pike comes to mind, as does the Kroger on Kingston Pike and Cedar Bluff for that matter.
  I find the associates generally nice and friendly. As with seemingly every box-grocery store in America, they never EVER have enough cashiers working. WHY do grocery stores put so many lines in when they almost always only run 1-3 lines at any given time. There are plenty of associates milling about doing various odd jobs; is it too much to ask to bring an extra couple of cashiers in to keep the customers happy, or does it cut too deeply into the bottom line? That's always a mystery to me...
