  Food is EXCELLENT! It may be a few dollars more than other restaurants in the square, but the food is outstanding. The complex flavors in the food, and the craft cocktails combined make this place a 5 star...and I don't give those out often!

  This is a fantastic higher caliber food establishment. If you are searching for cheaper yummy stuff, this is not for you as you will pay a bit more but get so much quality for the price. This is not a gravy-smothered food joint. Drinks are delicious and well-priced and the food (though not American-sized portions) is top notch! My husband and I had done our research and were not expecting a large, inexpensive meal. We were on a search for quality!
  
  If you are on the lookout for a great date place in an attempt to impress, this is it. You will leave with happy mouths. If you are looking for plate-sized portions for you to engorge upon til bursting..Not your place. The portions are modest but their taste is tough to beat or match. The pasta is also dente and the roasted fall vegetables had a slight bite on the outside with soft centers.. just right
  
  Try Oliver Royale once at least.. great for special occasions.. no dress code.

  On December 24, 2016 at 7:30 pm, my husband and I had a reservation for dinner at this restaurant. When we arrived, we were seated immediately, which looked very promising indeed. Well... that was the end of that. We sat there at the table for over 10 minutes with no one even acknowledging that we were even there. I can imagine that since it was Christmas eve, there probably weren't many if any walk-ins, so basically our business was surely lost. There were open tables around us, and when the customers who had reservations for those tables walked in "after" us, a waiter went straight up to them and started serving them.
  The tables were setting very close together in that when the waiter who was waiting on the table beside us came to service them, the waiter had to wedge himself between their table and ours, which put the waiters butt right in both of our faces. Not pleasant....
  At one point my husband got up and went to the bathroom, in hopes that someone might see us and come to our table, but that didn't work either. Still no one came to our table. That was straw that broke the camel's back for my husband. He got up and headed straight out the door, which I have never seen him do in the 15 or more years that I've known him. As I was chasing him out, I told the hostess that we had sat at the table for 10 minutes and no one even acknowledged that we were there....so we had to leave.
  When we got home there was a message on my husband's phone that if we came back...tonight.... they would give us free appetizers and desserts and they were very sorry but that our waiter just didn't see us. I am not sure that I believe that..... My husband is 6' 5" with boots on and I am 5" 11" with heels on. It's not like we are small people....
  While this may be a great place to eat, our experience was not positive. My husband has worked in the restaurant business for years and this is not the kind of service that will bring people back in droves. Well at least for us; we will not be back again to be ignored. Very disappointing experience.
