  Excellent food, great price! The atmosphere is fun and comfortable, the food was absolutely delicious. I had the pulled chicken sandwich with mac and cheese and banana pudding. Every thing was amazing, so much better than the Sweet P's in S. Knox. The price is good and they were super fast, I had plenty of time left in my lunch break. Thank you!

  Pulled pork sandwich was full of great smoke flavor and taken to the next level with their thick sauce. Ride and beans, a special on Wednesdays, was perfect, with sausage so good you wanted more. The collard greens were good, cooked with bacon, carrots, beans, and whatever else. I added some hot sauce and finished them off. Enjoy!

  Great vibe for a BBQ joint. Walk in and order, have a seat inside or outside to enjoy some excellent BBQ done the Sweet P's way. The brisket was moist and flavorful. The ribs are not the top end most cut I ever had, but still a good cut with good flavor. All the meats come with a very heavy rub. So much rub it literally coats all meats and seems to be the "extra kick" added after the meats are smoked. So a little different and hence why I say the Sweet P's way. The heavy rub does overpower the meats slightly and also makes the meats slightly on the salty side. Yet my final conclusion is that this is simply a uniquely different way to prepare the BBQ. Not my preference. Yet not bad either. Now onto the wings. The chicken wings are great. Get them with the rub and their hot sauce on the side for dipping. The slaw and the mac n cheese were both phenomenal. Prices are also reasonable for BBQ.
